This case came before the Tribunal by way of an appeal by the employee (appellant) against the recommendation of the Rights Commissioner ref: (r-120546-te-12/JT) under the Terms of Employment (Information) Acts 1994 and 2001.

Determination

The Tribunal carefully considered the oral and written evidence adduced at the hearing. The Tribunal is satisfied based on this evidence that the claimant was provided with a written statement of her terms of employment in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act. Accordingly the Tribunal dismisses the appeal and affirms the recommendation of the Rights Commissioner.
